Sistema para a Geração Automática da Escrita de Sinais em SignWriting visando o Apoio ao Ensino e à Aprendizagem da Libras

Deaf communities have suffered from the lack of access to information in their natural language, that is, in a Sign Language. One of the problems they face, is the barrier in the access to scientific, cultural and technological knowledge, because of the process of teaching and understanding the materials written in Sign Language. SignWriting is a writting system for Sign Languages that is capable of solving this problem. However, due to its complexity, there is no computational treatment that provides sufficient tools for the user, that promotes a proper user experience. Therefore, this work describes the design of an Automatic Signature Generation System in SignWriting, in order to help solve the presented problem.
