Representações discursivas de professores surdos formados em letras libras: uma análise crítica do discurso

This paper aims to analyze the discursive representations of deaf teachers, trained in Letras Libras College, from the Federal University of Mato Grosso. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with three teachers. As the theoretical basis, we use the training language teachers in Brazil; Albres (2016); the critical realism philosophy by Bhaskar (1989), the critical discourse analysis theory by Fairclough (2003), and the systemic- functional linguistics (LSF) by Halliday (2004). The preliminary results show off the teachers does not feel prepared for the Libras teaching, and that they see the need to continue with their training.
