Libras em Pílulas: Incitando o Interesse Escolar dos Alunos Surdos e Ouvintes em Tempos de Pandemia

This work of qualitative and ethnographic approach presents an report of experiences of the adaptations made to teach deaf students of elementary school at a public school in the state of Minas Gerais during the period of social isolation instituted by the pandemic caused by the Corona virus. It also discusses the teaching of Libras and the bilingual teaching process from the perspective of distance education based on the use of information and communication technologies. It is based on the testimonies of its participants and on the reflections of the authors about the difficulties and contributions of distance education in the teaching process of deaf students in basic education, as a corpus of analysis and contextualization. As a result, it is observed that the didactic adaptations, the approximation with students and their families and the use of information and communication technologies, constitute fundamental resources for the continuous stimulus of the teaching-learning process of deaf students and their hearing colleagues.
