AS ESTRATÉGIAS UTILIZADAS NO PROCESSO DE AQUISIÇÃO DE LIBRAS POR CRIANÇAS SURDAS

This article presents information about the process of language acquisition by deaf children, bringing forward its main teaching proposals involving the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). The research approach is qualitative and used the method of bibliographic review. The Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) was used to check in articles produced in the last 15 years. The general objective was to investigate the scientific productions made and disseminated on the theme involving the didactic strategies used by the professionals of the area in the acquisition process of Libras by deaf children. This search resulted in 70 articles, in which 59 of these were dismissed, being used 11 publications in which the strategies of Libras teaching in the education of children were approached under the focus on: 1) the act of playing in children education; 2) the math teaching with the support of Libras; 3) the interaction with deaf people; 4) the use of visual resources; 5) signaled literature and poetry. From the analysis of the data, the importance of the visual resources was observed as a stimulus in the acquisition of Libras by the deaf child and also of the visual pedagogy. Finally we emphasize that there is an incipience of productions in this area.
