ACESSIBILIDADE E INCLUSÃO DE PESSOAS COM DEFICIÊNCIA NO ENSINO SUPERIOR

This article addresses questions about the inclusion of people with disabilities in higher education, through IBGE statistical data, which demonstrate the increasing number of enrollments of these students, but few of them can access and remain in universities. These figures are still much lower in relation to the labour market. Access to higher education provided by quotas represents an important step in the inclusion of these students, but it is not enough, institutions need to welcome and offer quality education. There is much still to be done to achieve a more inclusive society.
