SEMIOSFERA DOS ESTEREÓTIPOS ACERCA DO SURDO E DA LIBRAS: UMA ANÁLISE SEMIÓTICA DO VÍDEO SURDO NO SUBWAY DO CANAL DESCONFINADOS

The objective of this work is to analyze the modes of representation about the deaf subject and Libras present in the video "Deaf in subway", reproduced by the channel "Desconfinados", to emphasize the presence of stereotypes, through the gestural, imagery signs and facial and body expressions, and to demonstrate how humor can distort the representation of deaf identity.We highlight that, in addition to dealing with language elements, we discuss the notion of humor based on authors such as Possenti (2018) and Saliba (2011).To this do so, we use the concepts of modalizing systems and semiosphere that make up the Semiotics of Culture tessitura proposed by the Russian semioticist Iuri Lótman (2016) and, in Brazil, by Machado (2003), understanding how the gestural and imagery signs structure the semiosphere of the stereotype of Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), in addition to deepening through the semiotics elucidated by Peirce and Santaella (1989 , 2008), the concepts of sign and language, and in this way discuss the notion of visual-sign-spatial language treated by the deaf community and urban deaf people in Brazil.Libras was institutionalized as a language through Law No. 10,436/02 and regulated by Decree No. 5,626/05.The idea is also to raise, with this study, the visual and cultural aspects deaf, elucidated by Gesser (2009) and Strobel (2008) in opposition to the vocalized language -Portuguese language, used by Brazilian listeners.
