Percepção de surdos adultos sobre o atendimento em saúde

Objective: This study aims to describe and analyze daily experiences ofthe deaf, as native users of Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), in health attendances at the public and private health systems. Methods: In this exploratory descriptive-analytic study it has been carried out research interviews with 25 members ofthe DeafCommunity and users ofthe Health System ofSo Paulo Municipality. Ali the interviews occurred in LIBRAS and were recorded in vdeo. Their outcome was translated and transcribed to Portugues. The sample has been chosen throug_h snow-ball technique and the amount of individuais hs been set, considering the use o f saturation sampling on the obtained research interviews data.
