Panorama das pesquisas a respeito da interpretação simultânea Libras-português: ascensão e posicionamento acadêmico

The present study aims to bring together the research developed and published regarding the simultaneous interpretation of Libras into Portuguese. For this, two surveys were carried out. One of them in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations and in the CAPES Catalog of Theses and Dissertations, in order to access academic works at master's and doctoral level. The other, in five main indexed national journals in the area of Translation and Interpretation Studies. Eighteen works are counted, being, respectively, two theses, eight dissertations and eight articles. Of these articles, five are excerpts or expansions of postgraduate research already carried out. The data were organized and discussed in two large groups, one to deal with more general aspects such as the period, authorship, and location of the research and the other for more specific parameters such as theoretical constructs, contexts of action and methodologies used.
