O vídeo como ferramenta de avaliação da aprendizagem de libras na formação de professores

The present research aimed at analyzing the use of videos, as an instrument to evaluate the learning of Libras in the courses of Teacher Training in Science and Mathematics of the Agreste Academic Center. Using a questionnaire, we sought to understand the perceptions, attitudes and motivations of the research participants, in an attempt to understand the learning process, and all its complexity in the production of the videos. We also analyzed two videos produced as a product to evaluate the learning of Libras by each of the participants. The incipient vocabulary in Libras and also the lack of dexterity with the video editing were the main obstacles reported by the participants, however we observed that the video production activity contributed to a significant improvement of the practice with regard to signaling in Libras, since the Same ones were led to research and to review, in advance, the requested signals, contributing to the self-regulation of learning. The embarrassment in being filmed was also reported by the participants, however they stated that during the course of the discipline this embarrassment decreased. The criteria used as evaluation of the learning of Libras were the parameters of sign language, namely: hand configuration, movement, location, palm orientation and non-manual expression. It was observed that the parameter of non-manual expression was the most compromised, revealing the need to work more intensely this parameter in the teaching processes.
