Experiência de tradução poética de português/libras : três poemas de Drummond

This papers discusses specific challenges present in poetic translation and are accentuated when one of the languages involved in the procedure is a sign language. This is because some poetry resources of oral languages, as the sound characteristics nonexistent in the sign languages, may seem as untranslatable. Therefore, we sought to reflect about the translation by performing a descriptive analytical work with proposals for translational practices interface Portuguese -Libras, which involved three Drummond's poems namely "The Flower and Nausea", "Aporo" and "Rose's Announcement". This study was based the Brazilian aesthetics translation of transcreation. It was also made an explanation on the General Theory of Signs, developed by Charles Sanders Peirce aiming application in the analysis of sources poems and their translations. It is believed that the ideas and examples presented in the course of this study contribute to increasing the understanding of the complexity that exists in translational procedure due to the difference of language modality and of the poetic genre as well as raise reflections on practice and training of SLTI professional. Finally, we emphasize that the translation of literary texts for pounds can contribute to the formation of deaf biculturalidade and ensuring access to culture of oral languages.
