Acessibilidade e inclusão de surdos na educação profissional e tecnológica nos Institutos Federais: revisão de literatura
Resumo
Inclusive education is still one of the significant challenges today, as it involves not only students with special educational needs but also the school, family, and society as a whole. From this, it was listed as a general objective to analyze the accessibility and inclusion of deaf people in Technological Education in the Brazilian Federal Institutes. To this end, the scope of this study sought to answer the following question: how do researchers in the field of Deaf Studies and Special Education look and describe who the deaf student is, and how does their process of access, inclusion, and permanence in Vocational Education occur. Descriptive bibliographic research was carried out, whose works were searched and selected during July 2021, using the descriptors Deaf Inclusion, Vocational Education, Deafness, Federal Institutes, and Special Education. The selection was made in the SciELO and Google Academic. Inclusion criteria were: works published in the last five years, in Portuguese and related to the theme. And as exclusion criteria: results from previous years that did not address the topic. It is concluded that scientific productions demonstrate the commitment not only educational but social, cultural, linguistic, and political that Libras, the natural language of the deaf, occupies in their way of life and the conditions of insertion of the deaf as citizens in the world of work.
