Registros das línguas indígenas de sinais dos indígenas surdos das aldeias Olho D’Água, Barreirinho e Água Azul da Terra Indígena Buriti em Mato Grosso do Sul

The present article aims to identify the signs used by deaf indigenous people living in the Buriti Indigenous Land, located in the municipality of Dois Irmãos do Buriti, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). In this way, an ethnographic research was conducted to understand the territory of the Buriti Indigenous Land, the history, culture, and language of the Terena people, and finally, to identify and record the deaf indigenous people of the region and their signs. From the perspective of sign language grammar, the signs produced by the deaf indigenous people found in the territory were analyzed and cataloged in charts, as well as QR codes made available that allow video visualization of the signs corresponding to the indigenous signs, which we titled Indigenous Sign Language of the Buriti Indigenous Land (LSTIB).
