A LITERATURA NA EDUCAÇÃO BILÍNGUE PARA SURDOS: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

The purpose of this article was to analyze how the deaf literature is worked in a bilingual room for the deaf. This study was developed in a regular bilingual room for the deaf of Recife's municipal network, located in the RPA-4 administrative political region. This is a qualitative research in the form of a case study. An interview was conducted with the bilingual classroom teacher and five observations during the deaf literature classes. The results show that the teacher, in her practice, worked the literature in a dynamic way with the reading of the books by the students, soon after by the teacher, and then the teacher interpreted the text, also using the keywords which are worked datiologically, the signal in Pounds and the writing in Portuguese. Another way is interdisciplinarily in which the book is used as resources for other contents thus providing moments of learning in a playful and visual way.
